Summary
This is a Two-day course conducted from Deer Park with successful
students obtaining a Heavy Rigid Licence endorsement.
 Major Elements include
- Road Law and regulations.
- On-road practical driving.
- System of vehicle control.
- Safe and economical vehicle operation.
- Reversing Skills.
- Defensive Driving Instruction.
- Driver Attitude.
- Licence test assessment
- Ratio of training- One student per instructor.
Testing
On completion of their training students shall then sit for their
Licence Test.
The test is broken down into three components.
- On Road Driving Test.
- Off-Road Reversing Skill.
- Theory Test based on the Victorian Bus & Truck HandBook.
Barkly Driving School will issue successful students with a
Certificate of Competence. The student must present this certificate
to a Vic Roads Office to have their licence endorsed.
Costs
$850.00 per student for two-day course [10hrs].
