Medium Rigid Course
Summary
This is a one-day course conducted from Deer Park with successful students obtaining a Medium Rigid Licence endorsement.
Major Course Elements include:
- Road Law and regulations
- On-road practical driving
- Safe and economical vehicle operation
- Reversing Skills
- Defensive Driving Instruction
- Driver Attitude
- Ratio of training- One student per instructor.
Testing
On completion of their training students shall then sit for their Licence Test.
The test is broken down into three components.
- On Road Driving Test.
- Off Road Reversing Skill.
- Theory Test based on the Victorian Bus & Truck Hand Book.
Barkly Driving School will issue successful students with a Certificate of Competence . The student must present this certificate to a Vic Roads Office to have their licence endorsed.
Costs
Vicroads Licence Fee: $22.00
Course Cost: $640.00 per student for one-day course [8hrs]
This is a Vic Roads approved Licence Accreditation Course.
