Multi Combination Vehicles (Automatic Gear Box)
Summary
This course is conducted over One Day from our Deer Park Driver Training Centre with successful students obtaining a Heavy Combination Licence endorsement. Training will be conducted in a heavy combination vehicle equipped Automatic gearbox.
Major Course Elements include:
- Road Law and regulations
- On-road practical driving
- System of vehicle control
- Safe and economical vehicle operation
- Reversing Skills
- Coupling & Uncoupling Skills
- Defensive Driving Instruction
- Driver Attitude
- Licence test assessment
- Ratio of training- One student per instructor
Testing
On completion of their training students shall then sit for their Licence Test.
The test is broken down into three components.
- On Road Driving Test.
- Off -Road Reversing Skill.
- Off- Road Coupling skill.
Barkly Driving School will issue successful students with a Certificate of Competence. The student must present this certificate to a Vic Roads Office to have their licence endorsed.

Course 1 Day: $1050.00
Vic Roads Licence Fee: $25.00
This is a Vic Roads approved Licence Accreditation Course.
